Notoriety in social media and quality of work are equally important. Maybe you are a great photographer but people don’t know about it. You will find photographers who sell their work very well, even if they are not as good as you. Among other reasons, they know how to succeed on wedding photography advertising and you don’t.

It is time to go forward, you have a great product and everyone should know about it. In this guide you will find some keys to succeed with your publications and take advantage of each dollar invested.

Be attractive in form and background 

In advertising there is a core idea that you must remember: be attractive inside and outside. What does this mean? The content that we advertise must be attractive. You must know your audience you are addressing well, think how you should speak, what language will attract them and what kind of blog they want to see.

Design is basic. As a photographer you know that the images are extremely important. In advertising it is the same. The images we use on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter will be key to attract users to your content.

A little trick, Facebook and Instagram penalize images with a lot of text. Don’t include too much, only prices or dates, and make it as impactful as possible. Another possibility is to test advertising with “A / B testing” to ensure which image is better.

Who should watch my wedding photography advertising? 

This is the most important question. If I am looking for young and modern couples my publication should be attractive to them, including text and image. In addition, Facebook and Instagram will request social data about my audience. The more you know about their tastes, favorite products and behavior, the better you will get them.

For example, if you know that young and modern audience is Iphone lover and usually buy in Hackett, use those parameters for your advertising.

One more fact, in advertising it’s important not to be generalist or too specific. If we are very generalists, we run the risk of not finding potential clients; if we are too specific we will not reach enough people.

Wedding photography advertising investment: Let’s bet on the right ad 

Advertising investment resembles casino. Investors create advertisements and expect it to be as cheap as possible.

Some tips that will help you get a good campaign. First, think about what type of campaign is better for you. Do you want more clicks on your blog? Many “likes” in a publication? Users who sign up for an event? On Facebook you can choose what kind of advertising you want to do, and depending on your choice the cost will be different.

Another important factor: when to publish it. Think like a user, at what time they are online? In what seasons are they on vacation? When will they be more willing to have interest in my services?

As you can see, in wedding photography advertising 50% is to know your audience and 50% offer attractive content.
