Kayla Barker, residing in a small West Texas town, has been a wedding and portrait photographer for eight years and has created a business that specializes in destination weddings and portrait sessions. She photographs clients throughout the year in New York, California, Europe, the Caribbean and many places in-between. She chooses to use film photography has her medium to capture timeless moments. With a degree and background in graphic design and also working as an artist, Kayla uses a curated and artful approach in her boudoir photography to create beautiful, light-filled images that evoke a sense of emotion and beauty.

As photographers we all face the same challenge: to be creative, to keep fresh, to find inspiration. On this class Sara will talk about inspiration and avoiding the burnout. She will share some tips and tricks she uses to maintain a creative mindset on a daily basis, how to analyse your work and look for those things you need to improve, and will go on an exercise to face her fears and challenge herself on the streets of Portland.
